Analyzing the current Shell gas station experience in the Netherlands to find out which annoyances and issues occur at those stations. Based on this analysis I came up with an improved Shell gas station setup which I evaluated with potential users and Shell experts.
As graduation project for Royal Dutch Shell in 2015.
Why this design?
Most of the design is classified, but the main goal is simple: to improve the user experience at gas stations by reducing the number of decision visitors have to make at the forecourt and by making the overall visit easier, faster and more clear.
