What?

A batter mixer based on a patent from 1916. As a group of 5 students we were challenged to modernize that patent. We came up with the Cooktopus: a mixer in the shape of an octopus, to entice children to help their parents with cooking.

For who?

The course 'Product Designing 4' in 2011.

Why this design?

We challenged ourselves further by turning a very technical patent into a fun, innovative product. Children are hard to design for because of the big differences in ergonomic sizes between all ages and their short attention curve.
